Consultation has concluded
The County of Dufferin is undertaking a Transit Feasibility Study to examine possible transit solutions for County residents, workers, students, and visitors.
County Council directed staff to study all reasonable options, preferred routes and costs associated to provide transit service for Dufferin County on October 8, 2020. IBI Group was awarded the Transit Feasibility Contract in late April and started the project in June 2021. Study completion is scheduled for December 2021 with a presentation to County Council.
The objective of the study is to determine whether a new transit service in Dufferin County (in addition to Grey County’s rural transportation pilot and outside of the Town of Orangeville) is a feasible idea, and to figure out how it might be done.
We need your help to inform the future of transit in Dufferin County! By completing this survey, you will provide the project team with important information that will help shape the vision, goals and design of a future transit service.
This survey is completely voluntary and information will only be used for the purposes of this Transit Feasibility Study.
