Dufferin County is updating our 2018 Long-Term Waste Management Strategy (LTWMS Update), and we’d like your input! The LTWMS Update has reviewed the County’s current waste management systems and has proposed recommendations for ten potential options for the future of waste management in the County.
These options include changes to an existing collection system, supporting community-led reuse and repair initiatives to reduce waste, exploring bylaw updates and reviewing County policies and practices with respect to waste management and diversion.
