Key to the success of this project is making sure the strategies and decisions reflect the priorities, needs, and perspectives of our community, while promoting long-term environmental sustainability.
We look forward to hearing about your thoughts and ideas!
Please take a few minutes to fill out the first of our two surveys, to tell us about your experiences with and ideas for waste services, and our various programs including waste reduction and diversion. What’s next? As we review the current LTWMS and look at future options, we will prepare project information, Council reports and presentations, and a draft for the LTWMS Update that we will share on Join In Dufferin under Documents/Resources (see the righthand panel on this page). The 2018 LTWMS documents are also under this area, and include the Executive Summary and Final Report, in addition to a link to our Dufferin County Waste Services website.
Please check out our Project Phases section, where you can see the various components of this project, including a planned spring survey and two Public Information Centres (Open Houses) to give your thoughts on the draft LTWMS Update. We’re also here to listen and answer questions through this Join In Dufferin page during the duration of this LTWMS update.
