This Plan affects all County employees, County Council and all members of the Dufferin community. One of the plan's goals is to include as many voices of residents and stakeholders in Dufferin as possible. We partnered with StrategyCorp Inc. to help ensure that the new Strategic Plan is evidence-based, reflective of the community and stakeholder input, and is implementable.
We talked to as many different people and groups around Dufferin as possible and want to extend a big thank you to everyone who provided their input in one way or the other. Your participation was vital to the success of this project!
This Strategic Plan is our compass. With a focus on the future as an interconnected and integrated Plan, we wanted to make sure that this Plan is for everyone in Dufferin. Now we are working hard to put the strategy into action.

The Strategic Plan is grounded in the County's vision, mission and values and will guide Council and staff in the day-to-day work of realizing progress on the priorities set out in the document. This will be done by linking the Strategic Plan to the County's annual business planning and budget process. We will build into the Plan a system of performance measurement meaning that it can be an anchor for accountability and transparency to the community we serve.
