The County of Dufferin is taking climate action
In May 2018 Dufferin County signed on to the Partners for Climate Protection Program, joining a national network of over 350 municipalities committed to climate action. The County of Dufferin is currently preparing a Climate Action Strategy that will include:
A greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) inventory
GHG reduction targets
Actions to be taken by municipalities, organizations, and community members to achieve the set targets while increasing community resiliency.
